MARCH 2022 -- MOGL, a revolutionary tech platform connecting businesses and brands to collegiate athletes for opportunities to monetize their name, image and likeness (“NIL”) is honoring women in sports in light of March, Women’s History Month through a partnership with SeeHer and by empowering female athletes on the MOGL platform.

Last month MOGL formalized a partnership with SeeHer, an organization owned by the Association of National Advertisers whose mission is to accurately portray all women and girls in marketing, advertising, media and entertainment, so they see themselves as they truly are and in all their potential. MOGL joined the SeeHer in Sports Taskforce, which aims to improve the portrayal and increase the visibility and distribution of women in sports.

The partnership will increase public recognition and support of the SeeHer movement and its mission. MOGL is looking forward to the ability to attend SeeHer member meetings, SeeHer training sessions and receive GEM in-market ad testing for equal representation in marketing content so that the platform can ensure that all female athletes are supported and informed.

“The MOGL team is thrilled for the opportunity to partner with a global movement that continually strives for the proper portrayal of women in media and recognizes our platform’s ability to promote their movement in the NIL”, said MOGL Chief Athletic Officer and former Notre Dame Quarterback Brandon Wimbush. “SeeHer will add tremendous value to the MOGL platform through its diversity efforts as well as its desire for more opportunities for women.”

Both companies in the partnership are represented by powerful women. SeeHer’s team includes world-famous Journalist Katie Couric, Goldman Sachs Chief Brand Officer Fiona Carter, former WNBA President Lisa Borders, Hall of Fame Notre Dame Women’s Basketball Coach Muffet McGraw, and Shark Tank Co-Host Lori Greiner.

Influential female athletes on the MOGL platform include Alyssa Bauman, world champion gymnast at the University of Florida, Sam Brunelle, All ACC women’s basketball player at the University of Notre Dame, Amanda Pirkowski, National Champion fencer at the University of Notre Dame, and Derrian Gobourne, NCAA Champion gymnast at Auburn University.

Not even a year after several new state laws passed to ensure college athletes the right to endorse products without being punished for doing so by the NCAA, the majority of NIL deals on the MOGL platform are being completed by female athletes. The platform has been influential in connecting female athletes to hundreds of brand deals including facilitating the first black female collegiate lacrosse player NIL deal with Detroit Mercy’s Maddie Johnson and Q 30’s Q Collar.

The MOGL team is 50% gender diverse and supports women in leadership positions. MOGL Business Development Manager Kelly McNulty was a collegiate athlete on the Ohio State University women's swimming team. As a former OSU varsity swimmer and scholar-athlete, McNulty is looking to give back and empower the current generation of collegiate athletes, especially female athletes in non-revenue generating sports. Female leaders at MOGL also include Director of Marketing Zoe Haugen and Customer Success Manager Nicolette Ruiz.
