About NILNewsstand:

NILNewsstand is a leading digital platform covering the evolving Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) landscape in college athletics. Our Pro Community connects administrators, collectives, agencies, and industry professionals to share insights, job opportunities, and educational resources.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, curious, and media-savvy Community Host to lead our virtual interview series within the NILNewsstand Pro Community. This remote role involves moderating live or recorded conversations with key NIL stakeholders—from athletic directors and collective founders to athlete brand managers and tech innovators.

Responsibilities:

  • Host 2–4 interviews per month (live or pre-recorded via Zoom)

  • Research and prepare talking points or discussion guides with NILNewsstand team

  • Facilitate thoughtful, conversational interviews (~30 to 60 minutes)

  • Collaborate with NILNewsstand to schedule and promote sessions

  • Optional: Light editing of recordings for upload

Qualifications:

  • Strong on-camera presence and interviewing skills

  • Knowledge of the NIL landscape, college sports, or athlete branding preferred

  • Previous experience with hosting, moderating, or journalism preferred

  • Self-starter comfortable working remotely and independently
