Through MOGL Monetize™, NIL Collectives are Provided Technology to Manage and Streamline Operations in Support of Student-Athletes

PULLMAN, WA (NOVEMBER 2022) –  The Cougar Collective has selected MOGL as its exclusive name, image and likeness (“NIL”) solution. Through MOGL Monetize™, the Cougar Collective is provided leading technology to streamline operations, improve athlete communication, connect athletes to deals, disclose the activity, and securely provide payment. Collectives using MOGL to power their initiatives are provided the technology and tools needed to best support the student-athletes at their favorite programs.

MOGL was built to provide equal access and equal opportunity for all NCAA athletes and institutions. This partnership ensures that The Cougar Collective and the Washington State athletes in their ecosystem can connect for deals, opportunities, and fan engagements in a seamless and safe manner.

“The Washington State Cougar Collective looks forward to this strategic partnership with MOGL because MOGL makes the student-athletes a priority,” said Cougar Collective Founder and former NFL player, Jedidiah Collins. “The Cougar Collective is committed to supporting Cougs in Pulman and beyond. Marketers recognize student-athletes as influencers within their communities and this partnership MOGL will help the Cougar Collective introduce and connect businesses with student-athletes to help them excel in the NIL space and engage with the community in unique and valuable ways.”

Collins added, “as a former student-athlete, what stood out to me about MOGL is their commitment to student-athletes and superior technology. MOGL is free for all athletes and provides them with deep levels of support and opportunity.”

An added benefit for collectives using MOGL is opt-in access to MOGL Master™, a holistic NIL education course and e-learning curriculum covering key topics such as financial literacy, tax guidance, contract and legal review, and brand building for athletes. Through this course, collectives can support athletes beyond simply connecting them with deals.

“Collectives and MOGL’s missions are generally aligned in that our goal is to support student-athletes and ensure that they have the tools needed to navigate this landscape in a safe and informed way,” said MOGL Chief Executive Officer Ayden Syal. “with MOGL’s technology, collectives can operate with more ease and security while giving more back to the athletes.”

MOGL is currently onboarding Collective partners who are committed to providing equal access and opportunity to NIL deals for all of their student-athletes.
