One Maryland Announces Three Key Hires to Strengthen NIL Strategy, Partnerships and Fan Engagement
Mark L. Jensen, Ian Lesaar, and Alex Antico join One Maryland to lead business development and fan engagement efforts supporting Maryland student-athletes.
COLLEGE PARK, MD (June 18, 2025) – One Maryland, the official NIL arm supporting Maryland Athletics and Terp student-athletes, is proud to announce three key additions to its team: Mark L. Jensen as Director of Business Development, Ian Lesaar as Director of Fan Engagement & Experiences, and Alex Antico as Manager of Business Development.
These strategic hires mark a pivotal step in One Maryland’s continued growth as the official in-house NIL arm of Maryland Athletics. Under the leadership of newly appointed Executive Director Mandy Allendorfer, this team will advance One Maryland’s commitment to expanding NIL opportunities for Terp student-athletes, enhancing fan engagement, and strengthening connections across campus, with local businesses, and throughout the Maryland community. As the landscape shifts toward revenue sharing in July, these new team members are poised to drive meaningful change and innovation, positioning One Maryland at the forefront of the evolving NIL ecosystem.
Mark L. Jensen joins One Maryland as Director of Business Development, bringing more than two decades of experience in strategic sales, partnership development, and integrated marketing. A University of Maryland alumnus, Jensen has held leadership roles at iHeart Media, Infinity Broadcasting, and WGRX Shamrock Communications, where he consistently exceeded revenue goals and created high-impact campaigns for major clients.
“As a proud University of Maryland alum and lifelong Terp, I’m thrilled to be part of One Maryland,” said Jensen. “This role is more than a job – it's a full-circle moment. I am passionate about empowering our student-athletes, developing innovative, successful partnerships, and making a lasting impact on the community we call home.
Ian Lesaar, a Washington, D.C. native, has been named Director of Fan Engagement & Experiences. Lesaar brings a decade of expertise in ticket sales and membership programs, having served as Director of Ticket Sales for the Washington Spirit and as a Platinum Sales Manager at TopGolf.
“I'm thrilled to join One Maryland and Blueprint Sports, where membership growth and NIL initiatives create new opportunities for student-athletes,” said Lesaar. “Together, we're dedicated to empowering Terps and enhancing the University.”
Alex Antico joins as Manager of Business Development, bringing experience from SponsorUnited, ForgiveCo, and most recently NCSA College Recruiting (IMG Academy). His deep Maryland roots and family legacy within Terp athletics bring a personal passion to his work.
“I’m proud to support the University of Maryland and its student-athletes as we strengthen our leadership position in the NIL space,” said Antico. “This work is personal for me—my uncle played basketball alongside Gary Williams, and my mom was a Maryland cheerleader. It’s an honor to serve this department, and I look forward to working closely with our athletic staff, coaches, corporate community, and the student-athletes themselves.”
These new additions position One Maryland for continued growth, innovation, and impact in the evolving NIL landscape. To learn more, email info@onemarylandnil.com.
