Job Description: NILNewsstand.com is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Interns. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital media and journalism while contributing to a dynamic and fast-growing platform focused on NIL-related content. As an Editorial Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
Assist with research, fact-checking, and gathering information for articles and blog posts
Contribute ideas for engaging and relevant content aligned with the mission and focus of NILNewsstand.com
Draft and edit content under the guidance of experienced editors and writers
Learn about SEO best practices and assist with content optimization and distribution
Gain insight into the editorial process, from idea generation to publication, and contribute to the overall content strategy of the platform
Responsibilities:
Aggregate and organize NIL News for various resources
Assist with research and fact-checking to ensure the accuracy and credibility of content
Draft articles, blog posts, and other written content under the guidance of senior editors
Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to NILNewsstand.com's editorial standards
Collaborate with the editorial team to develop and execute content ideas and strategies
Stay up-to-date on current events, trends, and developments related to NIL and related topics
Contribute to the growth and engagement of NILNewsstand.com's audience through social media and other channels
Qualifications:
Strong writing and communication skills, with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail
Enthusiasm for topics related to Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), including sports, education, business, and legal aspects
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team in a fast-paced environment
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude
Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably pursuing a degree in journalism, graphic design, communications, English, or a related field
Previous experience in journalism, blogging, or digital media is preferred but not required
